Terms & Conditions for Evening Dress Hire
a. Upon selection of an evening dress to hire, a holding deposit of £45.00 is payable. This is a non-returnable deposit made as part of hire fee contract between DIAMOND NIGHTS of WINDLESHAM and “the hirer”.  We accept cash, credit or debit card payment.  (We are sorry that we are no longer able to accept payment by cheque). PLEASE NOTE: We do not hire Prom dresses or Mother of Bride / Groom attire. All our stock is new to purchase only.
 
b. Payment of outstanding hire fee (less £45.00 deposit) may be made by cash, debit or credit card upon collection of the chosen evening dress.  (We are sorry that we are no longer able to accept payment by cheque).
 
c. A returnable security deposit of £100.00 is charged to a credit or debit card (not processed) upon collection of the chosen dress.  This security deposit must be left on collection of goods and will be returned on safe return of items hired, in a satisfactory condition, i.e. as per garment was when hire commenced.
 
d. Hire costs generally cover a period of 36 hours and a return date and time will be agreed when the items are collected.
 
e. If hired items are not returned on the agreed date and time, additional charges will be accrued at a rate of £15.00 per day or part day, unless otherwise agreed between DIAMOND NIGHTS of WINDLESHAM and “the hirer”.
 
f. All deposits will be retained until items have been returned and found to be in good condition.
 
g. In the event of irreparable damage to items hired or marks that cannot be removed, the full replacement cost of garment will be charged on return of the items.
